Editing Tips
I came from a time where everyone who was editing was learning. We all started from ground 0, and even those who were amazing were still learning as well. There were barely any tutorials, except for colourings, and what we knew were from what we learned ourselves, mostly.
I've noticed more lately that the editing community today feels more like they're obligated to have everything told to them. I personally don't mind sharing, hence this website, but I also find it unfair that this mindset exists. I spent almost 7 years gathering all this information, and a majority of editors now expect me to just...give it to them in a second. And I as said, I don't mind sharing, BUT there comes a point. You see, I want you all to know the building blocks of editing. Things are different now--people don't start from ground 0 and those who do are left in the dust. I don't want to leave people in the dust. But these same people who expect things to be given to them also just kind of copy editing styles. What's the point of that? Isn't it more fun to create your own style?
So here I have as much editing tips that I can think of. They do not give specifics on how to edit a certain way, but provide a useful set of building blocks so you can create your own things. Please use it wisely!

Remember, this website is purely just on what I know. I am not going into what other people do, because that is their business. And anyways, these are building blocks, not full on effect tutorials. If it's here, it means that it is something that I do (or have done in the past), and if it's not here, it means that it is something that I do not do. I may link tutorials if it is something I think might be useful, but is not something I learned by myself.
Do not copy and paste anything on this site as your own. You are free to link fellow editors to this, of course. But this was all hand written over actual YEARS of notes, so do not plagiarize my hard work.
